I finally returned to my missionary home of HONG KONG. My friend Jessica and I had a blast doing all those things we didn't do as missionaries, such as swimming at the beach, hiking beautiful mountains, gazing at the building landscape after dark and much much more. We traveled into China and got our first taste of bargaining for goods in Shenzhen. We traveled on to Guangdong by train to enjoy even more foreign surroundings, tastes, and views. We enjoyed the stares we got in restaurants when we ordered food, the excitement on their faces when we spoke Chinese and the unforgettable people we met at temples, stores and parks. We didn't so much enjoy the wet humid weather, the chinese buffet we found, getting lost at night.
