My first hiking excursion since my bad break almost 6 months ago came in the land of Capitol Reef, a beautiful area of red rock walls and towers. My friend Jessica and I spent our first day walking down dried river beds searching for geodes and capturing amazing landscapes. Rain came the second day, but we still managed to enjoy the beautiful sites, including a herd of deer walking right through our campsite.
